Civil Engineering and Coastal Management Lecturer required in Paignton, South Devon.|
We are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineering and Coastal Management Lecturer.
An opportunity has arisen to help deliver on Foundation Degrees in Civil & Coastal Engineering initially in the areas of geology and soil mechanics, structural analysis and design as well as coastal engineering.
You will be required to undertake formal schedule teaching duties including teaching, tutorials and student assessments.

To be considered you will need to have the following essential skills and qualifications:
*Civil Engineering Degree (Level 6) and be prepared to work toward a teaching qualification if not already held.
*Ability to deliver to demanding industrial clients at a highly professional level and be able to be proactive and aware of new legislation and techniques as and when they evolve.
*Relevant industrial experience in Structural design & analysis, Coastal, river and environmental engineering, Hydraulic engineering and Geotechnical engineering.
This is a full time position comprising of working hours of 37 hours per week. These hours will be made up of teaching and non-teaching time.
