Our client, a leading company working within the biogas and renewable energy sector, are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer / Mobile Technician / Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This will involve servicing, installing and commissioning plant and equipment for projects across the South of England.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and repair of process plant and equipment, such as pumps, conveyors, compressors and gearboxes. You'll also be tasked with fault finding of PLCs, controls and instrumentation. Other duties will include training customers on operating and maintaining their equipment.
In order to be considered for this position you will need experience working as a field service engineer, ideally with relevant training or qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering. You'll also need to possess a good understanding of machinery maintenance, commissioning and start up, as well as PLC controls such as Siemens.
This position will involve extensive travel across the South of England, covering sites from Suffolk to Somerset, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
