Contracts Manager - Sheffield - Highways|
An amazing opportunity to be developed over a 12 month period in to a Contracts Manager.
Rate:- £45,000 - £55,000 basic + Car
(Depending on experience)
Working for a Nationwide organisation but focused on the Northern division out of the Sheffield office. Focused in the Highway division, delivering projects from 500k - 5million in value from both sub contract packages of works for the Main contractors. Or on schemes directly through the Local authorities, Minor works frameworks and private developers.
This role needs someone with experience in the Highway sector, who understands the construction of a road system from the drainage, Surfacing, Diversions and everything linked to a live road network. Ideally already involved with packages of works dealing with the planning, programme of works and the work package plans required for a project to be undertaken.
The idea is taking your hands on project experience and developing you in to a Contracts Manager that will be able to review multiple projects. Support the management team with tenders, bids and creating the programme of works for new schemes.
You need to have the project experience from the highway sector. To have hands on experience of programme changes and delivering a project from start to finish with the hand back to the client no matter how small or large the scheme is.
Project delivery experience - able to read Construction / Engineering based drawings, Understand a programme of works and able to implement changes to the programme.
Supported by an Engineering based qualification - HNC / HND / Degree.
