Are you a hands on mechanically minded person with a mechanical/engineering educational background (Minimum of NVQ level 3 in an engineering or mechanical discipline)|
We are looking to hire into the Maintenance Team and require mechanically Bias Engineers to join the business. Working 4on 4off you will be in a team will lots of opportunity for further training (HNC, HND etc.) and progression. You will be working in a clean, dry well known manufacturing company based in Loughborough.
Hours/Shift: 4on 4off (4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off - rotating shift) 12hr shifts
Background required: Must have previous Maintenance experience within a production/manufacturing/industrial environment.
Essential Skills required:
- Time served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline
- Previous experience working within maintenance in a manufacturing/production environment
The ideal candidate will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:
* Time served apprenticeship
* Strong mechanical background
* Knowledge and understanding of Gear Boxes, Motors, Taperlocks etc.
* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
*To maintain the manufacturing plant and machinery to enable consistent production.
*Working with - Conveyors, belts, pumps, gearboxes, taperlocks
- Basic electrical knowledge required such as reading electrical drawings, fault finding.
In return for your experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer the company can offer:
*Starting Salary of £30,000 per annum - appraisals/yearly reviews to increase earnings
*20-25 days holiday dependent on length of service
