Project Management Engineer|
Salary: Circa Â£40,000 - Â£50,000 + bonus + excellent benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and evolving section of a global FMCG employer of choice, looking for an experienced and motivated engineering professional to manage multiple projects and ensure continuous and quality production. More specifically, the job holder has responsibility for the maintenance and continuous improvement of equipment specifications in order to ensure that the existing portfolio of products continue to meet safety, legal and quality requirements, in all markets, globally and that their supply remains sustainable.
â¢ To manage the portfolio of current products projects to ensure that they are appropriately resourced and prioritized in line with stakeholder expectations
â¢ Chair and manage the output of the current products management review and progress reviews with internal and external manufacturing operations
â¢ To provide technical support to resolve quality and supply issues originating from specification of machine components and, if necessary, update design and manufacturing specification(s)
â¢ Govern update of equipment specifications to protect the supply chain, maintain and drive quality improvements in equipment design, reduce risk, and generate increased value.
â¢ Implement changes to equipment specifications in line with the change management procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed with due diligence.
â¢ Develop low level time and product cost plans for a range of technical projects. Monitor and maintain plans according to progress. Ensure accuracy of plans throughout the duration of projects.
â¢ Manage the interface and communications within R&D and functions involved in current product projects
â¢ Driving effective collaboration with other departments and project members to achieve the delivery of current products projects
â¢ To ensure that the design and project output documentation (including any âdue diligenceâ) for future maintenance and support of electrical / electronics related products is appropriately captured
