A fantastic opportunity to join a Global multinational manufacturing organisation as a Manufacturing Engineer delivering the highest quality products in an innovative and renowned industry.

The role:

To support the Production Engineering function from an electronics aspect and ensure products are in line with electronic design requirements.
Participate in concurrent engineering efforts with product design and development personnel to ensure that PCBA and cable designs are compatible to current manufacturing practices & processes.
Assures that PCBA and cable assemblies are manufactured & packaged to specification
Provide manufacturing technical expertise and direction to the design department relating to design for excellence which encompasses design for manufacture, cost, assembly and reliability.
Produce relevant documentation to support the manufacturing process internally and within the supply chain. This includes Assembly Procedure's, Inspection Plans as well a validation reports for new technologies and manufacturing methods.
Assist in resolving technical issues on product during both the design & development stage as well as serial production.

To succeed in this challenging, people focused business, you will:

Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline.
Proven experience within an electronic production engineering team in manufacturing
Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and understanding of working with procedures, controls and quality standards.
Knowledge of structured development and improvement techniques such as DFM, PFMEA, Lean, Six-Sigma, SPC & 8D
Operational Knowledge of PCBA and cable manufacturing as well as the respective packaging processes
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong technical and analytical skills
Excellent communication at all levels.
Computer literate.
