Role: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Commutable from Wokingham, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Camberley, Farnham, Guildford and surrounding areas
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 + pension + profit shares

In short, this role is to support the Lead Engineer to achieve improvements and new product and process development within the Production Department.

More specifically, your core responsibilities will be;

•Provide technical support for Production areas
•Specify & implement production operating processes & methods
•New product & process development & implementation
•Plant & equipment specification & implementation
•Product validation & performance improvement
•Equipment & process problem solving & reliability improvement
•Continuous improvement & cost reduction programme lead & support
•Manufacturing systems design & implementation
•Ensure safe working practices & standards are designed into all production processes & equipment
•Comply with all H&S regulations


•Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline, ideally Mechanical OR Chemical Engineering
•Experience of working within an Engineering Workshop using a variety of manufacturing methods
•Experience of fabrication processes in a metalwork/stainless steel environment
•A solid engineering background - able to read drawings, basic mechanical principles, controls, design principles
•Experience of working to ISO9001 standards
•Computer literate
•Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
