As a Mobile Engineer you will service and repair our full range of equipment and products; maintaining the quality, safety, reliability and availability of hire stock in a cost effective manner. You will be required to attend breakdowns reported into the breakdown team and also complete service and repair to machinery on a proactive basis.
You will be responsible for the fault-finding, servicing, repairs and maintenance of a range of powered access equipment within the depot and on customers sites.
You will possess excellent fault diagnosis and repair skills and have the ability to work alone or as part of a skilled team.
Routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products
You will be required to complete all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures.
Carry out refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary
Promote teamwork between colleagues across all depots, to ensure delivery of an effective workshop performance
Liaise with the National Operations Centre when spare parts are required to ensure cost effective repairs
Liaise with National Operations Centre to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs also providing recommendations regarding write off, damage and recharge to customers
Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times
Advise National Operations Centre of repairs covered under warranty
Ensure service records are maintained and updated onto Spanner and daily worksheets are populated
Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work
Adhere to damage process, ensure product damage is highlighted
Maintain and ensure maximum productivity in line with company targets
Represent the company and values of the business and portray a professional and businesslike image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
Be a key driver in serious about safety by leading from the front
Ensure workshops and products / equipment are maintained to our 360? brand.
Carry out other tasks and duties as required
Experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
Technical understanding of products and hire equipment
Product knowledge including powered access range / access range preferred
Experience working in a similar industry
Product knowledge including powered access range
IPAF operators certification 3A and 3B
