Job Title: Insulation Technician|
Reporting to: Technical Supervisor
Working Hours: 7.00am - 16.00pm (1 hour break)
Term: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £10 per hour (annual equiv = £20,800)
Plus overtime payable at £12 per hour and bonus payable at £100 per month based on KPI achievement.
Benefits: Pension of 1% of gross salary after 3 months (employee contribution of 1%).

To install cavity wall and or loft insulation to New Build properties following the correct specification.
To install insulation to the area surrounding a room in a roof space on domestic properties, following the correct specification.
You will work mainly as part of a two man team. Work is carried out in a 100 mile radius from the Swindon office.
We have a team of Technical Supervisor's who are responsible for managing all Insulation installation teams. The Managing Director oversees this department in its entirety.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Install cavity wall and / or loft insulation to New Build Client's properties:
Carry out a site specific risk assessment for both cavity wall and loft insulation.
Install the material through a series of injection holes, drilled in the internal walls, specified by the BBA ensuring a sufficient volume of material is installed.
Add an appropriate mix of mortar in the internally drilled holes.
Loft insulation is laid in a specific way to ensure optimal efficiency.
Fit tank jackets and pipe lagging as required.
Ensure the Site Manager signs off all related paperwork.
Carry out a site specific risk assessment for loft insulation works
Install rolled fibre insulation and celotex to the room in roof area in line with BBA specification.
Cut out an area in the ceiling to house a loft hatch and install accordingly.
Fill / plaster the area and make good for decoration
Ensure the property is clean and tidy, removing any debris before leaving the property and site.
Return completed job sheets to the office at the end of each day, make Operations department aware of any issues. Collect the next day's job sheets.
Load vehicle daily with materials required for next days installations.
Share the driving to and from jobs, carrying out vehicle checks daily. Team to take responsibility of the vehicle making sure it's kept clean and tidy at all times.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures as required.
Cavity wall and loft insulation will involve working at height from ladders and working in confined spaces adhering to company Health & Safety guidelines.
Clean driving license
Previous building experience preferred but a positive, customer focused attitude and willingness to learn is a pre-requisite
Working from heights experience
Strong Communication skills
