Mann Mcglynn are working with a well respected Shopfitting contractor based in Hampshire - they specialise in interior fit-out projects in Travel Retail, High Street Retail, Leisure, and Commercial sectors.

Due to expansion they looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to manage upcoming shop fitting projects across the UK

Job Purpose:

As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the production, quality control and overseeing the day-to-day operations of project installations and maintenance works.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervising employees and site managers on the projects within their care.
Ensuring that projects are correctly programmed.
Ensuring projects run well and are within budget during their course and complete on time with a satisfied client upon handover.
Promote the Company values in order to create new opportunities with new business.
Provide excellent service to exceed the expectations of Clients.
Negotiating approved sub-contract orders, sourcing specialist suppliers and materials, planning critical dates, monitoring sub-contractors, organising labour, managing health and safety, liaising with Health and Safety Executive if required, liaising with Architects and Designers, Planners, Building Control Officers and Clients/Clients representative.
Completing or organising surveys, and ensuring all information whether in written or drawing format complies with necessary legislation and is sufficient to pursue the contract to completion.

Experience Required:

The successful candidate will have a strong commercial project management experience ideally having worked on interiors and or shop fitting projects.
Experience in the retail, commercial and large store format fast track projects will be

Knowledge of construction, site management, electrical, mechanical and joinery installations.
Contract management, problem solving, pro-active in completing projects on time, on budget and to excellent quality.
Establishing and maintaining Client relationships.
