My clients priority placement is for an internal based Level 3 / managed Service Citrix engineer.
3rd line support engineer (Citrix)
Day to day tasks
• Be part of a Managed Service team, providing level 3 support and day to day management to my clients Enterprise clients XenApp, XenDesktop, Netscaler, Citrix Mobility solutions
• The role is internal based from their Manchester office providing Level 3 / Managed Services assistance to Enterprise clients.
As a 3rd line support engineer you must have:
• Hands on experience performing Citrix administration, support and troubleshooting (Citrix XenApp 6 / 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.6 / 7 )
• Hands on Experience performing Citrix Provisioning Services Administration and troubleshooting
• Hands on Experience working with Active Directory Group Policies and Citrix Policies.
• Configuring applications for use in a multi-user citrix environment.
• CCA XenApp & or XenDesktop Certified
• Experience of administering a virtualisation platform (VMware vSphere and /or Microsoft Hyper-V)
3rd line support engineer (Citrix)
• Experience in integrating Citrix Access gateway / NetScaler Access Gateway VPX with XenApp / XenDesktop
• Knowledge and understanding of storage (SAN/NAS) preferably NetApp Storage
• The position is internally based

• £32 - £35k
• Manchester based
• Training is available
• Overtime: Out of hours rota is 100.00 per week if you are on call / 95.00 per hour for attending to a client's OOH case
