Amazing opportunity for a Chief Architect / Lead Solutions Architect to lead the software development vision and strategy in a FTSE 100 global firm.|
The company are a well-known name within financial services, with the global HQ based in the UK.
The role demands a hands on approach to software development - it's a non managerial role where you will be coding on daily basis.
You'll bring an in depth understanding of design methodology of distributed systems in an operation context. You'll bring the attitude and aptitude to take on multiple domains, although expertise in Java must underpin all your tech skills.
You must be able to and willing to consistently write and tweak software - likely being able to write it in your sleep!
You will be able to demonstrate leadership of a domain / environment, while still being a technical guru.
You will create a roadmap, vision and strategy to deliver an integrated suite for all analytics software. Being part of the core architectural leadership team, you'll have to articulate data architecture to development teams and the wider company environment.
