My client is a multi-disciplined IT company with multiple sites in the UK. They have recently invested a huge amount money into their IT infrastructure that allows businesses to receive super-fast broadband at prices they didn?t even know existed. Due to this new infrastructure and development, businesses could avail of top speed broadband coverage and also receive money for upgrading? They just don?t know it yet! And that would be your job to let them know and to set appointments for a follow up with one of your fellow Business Development Executives.
Because they are a Multi-disciplined IT company they have created a 1 stop shop for all businesses which means additional products such as Cyber security and telephony. You don?t need to be an IT buff to excel in this role, you just need to understand the need for various services and let the products do the talking. Full training will also be provided.
Calling prospective clients to arrange appointments
Identifying new sales leads
Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets
Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
