Our specialists are responsible for the management and control of hundreds of major capital programs totaling over US$300 billion across all continents and market sectors, including transportation/infrastructure, mining and minerals, environmental, facilities, water and energy.

Job Summary
We're seeking an Analyst to join the Strategy & Growth Group for AECOM's Design and Consulting Services (DCS) Americas business.

DCS Americas is a multi-billion dollar, leading provider of infrastructure services, including Architecture, Engineering and Consulting. The Growth & Strategy Group is responsible for strategy development, market intelligence, special projects and operations in support of the business' growth goals.

The Analyst will help advance the agenda of Executive leadership by defining strategic direction and driving critical strategic initiatives for DCS Americas. This position will report to the Vice President, Strategy & Growth. This position requires the acumen to address complex projects, balance multiple responsibilities, and influence key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and wants the opportunity to develop core business management skills in a high impact environment.

  • Develop actionable insights and quality deliverables in support of strategic priorities
  • Conduct internal and external research and analysis to develop actionable recommendations
  • Assess markets and develop detailed market insights and strategies
  • Work to establish the development of Business Line and Regional strategic plans
  • Provide strategic input into mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures
  • Build credible subject matter expertise and personal brand
  • Establish excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive leadership team
  • Understand the structure of the organization to interact with internal partners

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from top tier program
  • 5 years experience
  • Experience in research and analysis, strategic planning, and financial analysis
  • Strong comfort level with corporate financial statements
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Proven ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
  • Passion for business and desire to develop into a strong business leader
  • Highly comfortable with MS Office, with a focus on Excel, CRMs such as Salesforce, and corporate financial reporting systems such as Oracle

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior management consulting or investment banking experience is preferred
