My client is a medium sized firm of consulting civil and structural engineers based in Colchester, Essex.|
They have vacancies for Civil Design Engineers.
The Practice provides engineering services to an increasing number of major national housebuilding companies, commercial developers and housing associations. Staff are fully conversant in the design of housing and commercial developments in both urban and rural areas, with Local Authorities, County Authorities, Highways Agency, Railtrack, Dockland Light Railway, Environment Agency and Port of London Authority etc. They also have long established relationship with the NHBC.
The wide design experience of the Practice encompasses multiple high rise developments with underground vehicle parking facilities, major infrastructure construction and diversions, river sea defence works, industrial and commercial developments for specialist use, including multi-storey grain processing and storage, food storage, cold stores and warehouse distribution centres.
Working with the Senior Engineers and Technical Directors you would be working on varied and diverse projects. You should have experience with S38, S104, S278 works and road, drainage and external works designs. You should be skilled at PDS and Microdrainage Windes.

You must live within reasonable commuting distance of Colchester or be looking to relocate to this area.
