Hays have been successfully retained by a well-established, market leading NI based Contractor in their search for a Site based Project Manager for major design and build projects across NI and UK. This requirement is due to a consistently strong order book being bolstered with the recent addition of major educational framework wins and consistent commercial projects. This continued growth has led to the permanent requirement for an experienced Site based Project Manager with a background in delivering major new build projects in excess of £10M in value.
Your New Role
With a number of projects set to commence, and an already broad existing workload, our clients have an immediate requirement for a Project Manager to join their busy operational management team here in Northern Ireland. In order to be considered it is expected that you will be a technically able professional with a proven ability in managing site teams to meet stringent budgetary targets in a timely manner. It is essential that you are highly organised, detail-driven and that these characteristics are reflected in the quality and delivery of your work. You must have demonstrable experience of managing client expectations, working to a variety of contracts including JCT & NEC3 and also keeping a close eye on all commercial aspects of the project by working with the Project QS. What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, the successful applicant must be a highly motivated and career minded individual who is commercially aware, technically proficient and IT literate. It is required that you have suitable experience as a Site based Project Manager working on large scale new build projects.
