This Essex based Mechanical & Electrical Contractor are looking for an Electrically biased Project Engineer to manage the delivery of a number of Temporary & Emergency M&E installations within the UK Rail sector.

Managing a number of sites throughout the London, as a Project Engineer you will be responsible for setting up safe sites, developing schedules of works, undertaking material and labour planning and managing the delivery of each package to time and quality standards.

As a Project Engineer you will also be required to work closely with key project stakeholders within other contractors and the client. Working with a Contracts Manager as a Project Engineer you will also get involved in the raising of variations, and generally you will help to ensure that each package is delivered to budget

Scope of works will often include Lighting, Power, BMS, CCTV, Security, Fire Protection Systems, Structured cabling , Passenger Information systems and Access Control.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of managing M&E sites within the UK Rail sector. The candidate will have solid team management experience and strong communication skills. This will be combined with experience of setting up safe sites, scheduling works, producing assurance documentation and managing the delivery of works packages to time and budget.
