We are running a retained search for a leading injection moulding manufacturer for a Maintenance Manager position. This role will hold an integral role within the site's recent growth and development following recent investment.|
Our client supply precision injected moulded products to a broad array of industries in a very fast paced, highly automated, high volume manufacturing environment. This role will manage a Maintenance team across installations, breakdowns, developments and preventative maintenance.
As Maintenance Manager this role will hold responsibility for co-coordinating the maintenance departments day to day working, as well as supervising contractors and all new installations.
The role will:
Responsibility & ownership for developing and delivering a constantly evolving high quality engineering maintenance plan that drives performance improvement.
Ensure the timely resolution of equipment failures and performance issues
Achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in respect to equipment performance, reliability and breakdown, maintenance completion
Promote and support the company quality & safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement whilst contributing to the company's Lean strategy
Improve breakdown response times and preventative maintenance techniques
This role will be highly influential and the person coming in will have free range to implement there own techniques and systems. The company are growing significantly following a great deal of recent investment and this role is a created position as a result of that growth. This role will be essential to that sustained growth and a key member within the senior management team.
This position will need to manage a team of engineers and thus experience in managing a team in such an environment is necessary. Experience in an injection moulding environment is also advantageous along with a toolmaking background.
