About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. Job Summary
URS/AECOM has an opening for a Maintenance Manager in Qatar.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects and oversight of all maintenance operations for the APS-5 contract in Qatar to include overall problem resolution, planning, and execution of forward functions pertaining to maintenance.

Essential Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for overall problem resolution, planning, and execution of forward functions pertaining to maintenance.
1) Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.
2) Adjusts resources to meet production requirements.
3) Assigns adequate supervisory coverage for each shift.
4) Manages the special certification roster.
5) Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions.
6) Reviews and evaluates management and production effectiveness. Analyzes personnel and equipment performance history using QA reports.
7) Initiates management actions to meet new workloads or correct reported/perceived deficiencies.
8) Manages the maintenance planning cycle.
9) Ensures only qualified personnel accomplish maintenance with the appropriate equipment and tools.
9) Ensures compliance with safety directives, appropriate occupational safety and health standards, and applicable industrial safety publications. Those occupational training requirements that require documentation will be annotated on the appropriate records.
10) Ensures scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed.
11) Advises the production supervision of conditions that may disrupt the orderly and controlled execution of the maintenance plan.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have at least ten years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the Logistics STAMIS in use and must have the ability to properly monitor production for compliance with scheduling directives, cost factors, and other applicable standards.
  • Must be able to properly develop appropriate performance standards, track maintenance production, and ensure facilities operate in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
