We are continuing to expand and now have a real career opportunity for a software Licensing Manager to join our Software Sales Team based from our offices in Bracknell .
Successful applicants will be responsible for supporting the sale of omplex software driven solutions across a wide client base and will have a proven track record of software licensing knowledge , T-36 and license lifecycle sales , working with our branch account management teams to manage end-to-end sales and commercial engagements for all core software opportunities including , but not exclusively, Microsoft , Citrix , VMWare and Symantec .
The role :
Working closely with Software Solution Specialists to provide end-to-end provision of complex software quotes/cost modelling etc ; leveraging vendor licensing agreements to the mutual benefit of our clients and SCC for all key or nominated software vendors .
Be the first point of contact for SCC's incumbent licensing customers and the account teams for licensing enquiries .
Deliver customer programs eg T-36 activities to ensure clients leverage maximum value from their software contracts and position SCC as their value partner .
Maintenance of relevant customer software catalogues and pricing
Collaboration with Solutions Specialists and sales teams to maximise potential sales opportunities within client licensing contracts specifically to up sell and cross sell as appropriate .
Ensure customers are receiving the most accurate and up to date procurement and licensing guidance through the lifecycle of their software agreements .
Assist in the bidding process including response documents such as RFI , RFP and full proposals .
Drive partnership and collaboration with key vendors
Assist Software Solution Specialists with pipeline ensuring all customer opprtunities are shared and entered on the internal CRM system and are accurate and kept up to date .
Skills and experience :
Comprehensive licensing knowledge across multiple software vendors
Solid understanding and proven track record in selling software licensing solutions that are tailored to meet clients' needs and demands including Software Asset Management [SAM].
Ability to identify , qualify and leverage new licensing opportunities within incumbent and new accounts .
Strong understanding of technology , emerging technologies and the broader market outside software .
Ability to develop long term relationships as a trusted partner for our customers
Ability to drive internal collaboration and lead virtual teams .
