Sable & Proctor are currently representing a software house who have a national presence in the markets they operate in. They produce bespoke applications across various platforms and a wide variety of sectors.
Due to growth across the UK, they are looking to employ another Business Analyst to join their software implementation team. As a BA you will be responsible for delivering appropriate and effective solutions, developing design requirements, functional specifications and technical infrastructure to meet the customers' requirements and expectations. From initial inquiry you will manage the cycle right through to implementation and after care.
Ideally you will be able to translate between business language and technical language and you will liaise directly with the clients and work cohesively with the implementation, product and development teams. You will essentially be the link (face and voice) between the business and the customer.
•Liaise with customers in order to understand the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed.
•Determine how to map the business requirements of the customer onto the product features using the methodologies and processes.
•Conduct individual and group training, product demonstrations and workshops as required.
•Implement and control change management requests from the client.
•Deliver successful implementation phases.
•Work with customer to identify any required changes along the way.
•Ideally degree level educated but not essential. Relevant qualification in I.T or related field would be desirable.
•Good business acumen with aptitude for solving problems through the use of technology and process.
•Ability to work through issues and come up with suitable solutions were needed.
•A solid grasp of computer systems, software development and deployment methodology and computer networking.
•An ability to handle multiple tasks and come up with innovative and viable solutions for software product implementation.
•Personable with the ability to communicate effectively to both gather information and articulate a suitable software offering.
