My Client, a tier 1 main contractor based in Essex, is currently looking for a highly qualified Site Engineer. The role will be to oversee the engineering works on a £15 million commercial scheme, running until approximately the end of next year.|
This scheme is the strip-out and re-fit of high end offices, located in Essex.
You will be in charge of overseeing all the setting out of partitioning walls on site and producing QA reports. Close monitoring or Structural drawings will be required as there is a tricky steel beam section being put in place.
You will be sat as No. 1 Engineer on site and reporting to the Senior Site Manager.
* Overseeing of the setting out on site
* Managing junior engineers
* Producing QA Reports
* Weekly site meeting
This will be predominately a site based role and will be more involved with the subbies, however paperwork will be involved.
Your skill set should include:
* Ability to communicate well
* Good IT Skills (i.e. Word & Excel)
* Knowledge of & history working on commercial schemes
