Junior Project Engineer - Warwick
Positioned within the Rail Engineering team you will learn the responsibilities of Project Engineering activities and the impact of working on safety related telecoms systems on the operational railway.
Where required you will be responsible for interfacing with telent project team members and client representatives during the project lifecycle.
Working as part of a small, multi-skilled technical team, you will learn all technical aspects of the delivery of design and Health & Safety packages.
You will work closely with established Project Engineers to produce Task Briefs and Work Package Plans and you will assist in the delivery, quality and review of design documentation.
You will, where agreed, provide a single point of contact for office and site based staff as well as client representatives.
You will, where possible, deliver technical support, ensuring compliance and accurately reporting of progress to Project Managers.
Business Operations Skills - Experience:
This is an Entry Level Engineer therefore minimal business operations skills are expected.
It is desirable for the candidate to have some work place experience, in an Engineering field.
IT literate, with experience on MS Office applications.
Attention to Detail (Results & Quality)
Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
You will hold a minimum of either HNC/HND, NA or equivalent in any engineering degree with one of the following core disciplines: Electrical, Electronic, Telecoms or Systems.
You will be an effective communicator (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively direct others in the production of design packages and the implementation of these designs in a safe and controlled manner.
Attention to detail is essential when working on operational safety related telecoms systems.
