Do you have an operational and maintenance background within a Process / Manufacturing environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity in our Service Delivery team maintaining our Aqueducts, Reservoirs and Water Treatment Sites.|
About the role: Safely Operate and Maintain a diverse range of equipment at Raw Water Sources, Reservoirs and Water Treatment Works. Ensure water is produced to an exacting quality standard without compromising quantity or costs. Work shifts to an annualised hour system, providing positive contributions and support as part of a twelve man shift team.
About you: Ensure the Health & Safety of yourself, colleagues, visitors and members of the public is excellent at all times.
You wil be operating the assets under your control to ensure that all water quality and quantity targets and standards are met.
Comply with and contribute to statutory, company & treatment works policies and procedures is essential.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities for the benefit of the team and wider Company.
Experience: Primarily, you will have Water Treatment Proces Knowlege/Experience. Shift work experience is essential, and the use of a variety of IT systems.
This role is working in a number of different conditions both outside and in, therefore you must be prepared to work under different weather conditions. Although you are part of a wider team, there are large parts of this role where you work on your own, therefore you should be self motivated and confident to use own initiative.
Any mechanical or hydraulics understanding is highly desirable, you will be required to have a full valid UK driving license to use the company van to travel between sites.
