Generator Installation Project Manager - Highly competitive salary and benefits package!|
Due to the continued expansion of a well-established engineering business, a new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Project Manager to work with a growing portfolio of clients across the country.
This is a pivotal time to join a developing business in the power generation and construction sector.
The successful candidate can be based from one of our client's sites and will use their excellent communication skills to build a strong rapport with our client's customers and contractors.
You will use your previous technical expertise in this field to consult on and implement multiple projects containing diesel generator mechanical and electrical auxiliary equipment, including engines size, containment, control panels, IOC cards, PLCs, wiring, fuel tanks and attenuation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring the supply, build, installation and delivery of generator projects, on time and within budget
* Ensuring the project budget and costs are managed efficiently
* Owning responsibility for the day to day running of the project installation
* Conducting site surveys, risk assessments and arranging permits to work
* Managing sub contractors
* Liaising with clients, contractors end-users
* Commissioning and handover
The primary focus of our client is employing the great people within their business, however, electrical qualifications at a recognised level such as HNC, HND, City and Guilds 17th Edition or above would be a distinct advantage!
