My Client, a tier 1 main contractor based in Hatfield, is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager. The role will be to oversee the works on a £5 million commercial / Educational scheme, running until approximately the end of September.

This scheme is the strip-out and re-fit of all the alarm systems .

You will be in charge of overseeing all subcontractors on site and working closely with the M&E Subcontractor.

You will be sat as No. 1 on site and reporting to a visiting contracts manager, who is responsible for looking after Hertfordshire and therefore will only be on site once or twice a fortnight.

Your Duties:

* Day to day running of a construction site
* Managing sub-contractors

* Mechanical & Electrical
* Dry Liners

* Producing site reports and site diaries.
* Weekly site meeting
* Toolbox talks and site inductions

This will be predominately a site based role and will be more involved with the subbies, however paperwork will be involved.

Your skill set should include:

* Ability to communicate well
* Good IT Skills (i.e. Word & Excel)
* Knowledge of & history working on commercial schemes
