Home-based Utility Surveyors required to cover South of England for world class employer using latest technology & personal development training.|
Our client is one of the most successful surveying companies in the UK, with offices in both the South and North of England. They are part of a growing global company offering excellent in-house career opportunities and personal development training.
They specialise in delivering professional Topographical & Utility survey services to the UK's major Construction Companies, Utility Companies, Engineering Consultants and Environmental agencies. Using the latest technology, they deliver services to the highest quality, safety and efficiency, providing clients with a trouble free end to end service.
Reporting to their base in Sevenoaks, they are looking to expand the team of home based Utility Surveyors covering the South of England. They need highly skilled surveyors with differing levels of experience from Surveyor up to Senior Surveyor - hence the wide salary range.
You will be working alongside other Surveyors in the team to support the Project Managers, ensuring projects are completed safely to the required deadline, budget and quality, in-line with company policies and working procedures.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Checking and gathering data to produce accurate mapping information of underground and overhead distribution and supply services.
• Carrying out the identification of utility pipes and cables for verification, validation and excavation avoidance.
• Carrying out investigative, non-destructive surveys using latest technology
• Processing data in AutoCAD and other software packages.
Successful applicants will have relevant utility related surveying experience,be able to interpret maps and plans, a proven ability to deliver projects safely and on time to a high standard and be expected to attend and pass industry recognised training courses which may include N.R.A.S.W.A, CSCS , manual handling and equipment.
You will have a flexible approach to working hours and be willing to work away from home for short periods when the situation demands. Excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and IT skills are all essential for the role as is the ability to work on your own initiative and possession of a full driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
