An award winning games studio are on the search for a fantastic Java, Game engine developer to join their existing team. Over the past 15+ years, this organisation has built a remarkable reputation within the gaming world and has welcomed over 250 million players to its world.

Role: Java Game Engine Developer
Experience: Java expert, Gaming industry experience, Experience in one or more key game development disciplines such as rendering, tools, gameplay, AI etc.
Salary: £65,000 (D.O.E)
Location: Cambridge, London, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Luton
They will need an expert programmer in using Java who has the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment. You can expect to develop client server architecture, researching, innovating and developing new game engine technology. The role will require you to work closely with the community to understand what they want from the game and how best the game engine can supply that. Hard work will surely be a key aspect of this role, but you will be a very large cog and a very large engine.
The new modernisation of an existing product will be a fantastic project you can expect to be involved in immediately. You will also be involved in all areas of the game from deciding the strategy to appearing on live streams (must be confident in front of a camera).
Someone that can be constantly proactive in finding ways to make the game technology faster, slimmer and more effective will certainly be an area this organisation will be looking for. "PASSION" is most certainly a key word for this role, you must have a passion for innovating solutions and solving problems in a unique technology stack.
