ICT Analyst (Application Support) Overview|
Our Corporate Applications Team are recruiting for an ICT Analyst to provide support for our IT applications.
About the ICT Analyst (Application Support) role
In this role you'll develop and support the Council's Corporate and Business Unit IT applications which are key to meeting the requirements of our digital and ICT strategies. The applications we use include: Access, ArcGIS, Business Objects, Oracle RDBMS, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL Server, SSRS, IIS all running in a Windows environment.
You'll contribute to our ICT and Digital Strategies by providing:
* Application Support
* Application Development
* Service Management
* User Support
* Information Management
* Audit and Security
* Customer Service and Communication
* Accountability and Strategic thinking
Range 4 = £23,310 - 24,592
Range 5 = £25,781 - 27,199
Range 6 = £29,037 - 30,635
Range 7 = £33,151 - 36,798
This is a career graded role and appointment will be made according to knowledge, skills and experience as evidenced in applications and at interview, however, at all levels we would be looking for
* Excellent ICT skills including use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems
* Experience of managing relationships with users, ICT colleagues and other stakeholders in particular listening, negotiating and influencing skills.
* Working knowledge of delivering ICT services for any one of the following applications: Access, ArcGIS, Business Objects, Oracle RDBMS, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL Server, SSRS, IIS
* Awareness of project management principles
* Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills
