Due to planned strategic growth, this international company, who are a leader in their field are looking to increase their number of Regional Managers.

The role is home based role covering a region where you wil be managing 8-10 engineers. There will also be frequent travel to your customer sites. This is a southern based role and will cover Devon, Kent, South London and the South Coast.

Hours of Work
Mon-Fri, but flexibility required to meet customer & business needs - including daytime meetings with customers & colleagues and line management responsibility for supporting engineers in team

Job Purpose
To lead a team of regionally-based engineers to deliver a quality service to customers, continually improve customer satisfaction, whilst supporting & developing individual & team capability.
Targeted Outcomes
Delivery of agreed SLAs & agreed customer service standards
Continuously improving level of customer service & satisfaction
Effective relationships with customers & team
Effective utilisation of engineers to maximise efficiency
Individual PDRs/121s & development plans to improve engagement & capability
Engineers fully trained & adhering to required Health & Safety standards & working practices
Close working relationship with Ops Manager, other RMs, & other colleagues
Key Accountabilities
Developing & maintaining close working relationships with customers
Working closely with customer CCTV analysts to improve system effectiveness
Inputting to &/or attending regular customer service review meetings
Reviewing customer service measures & driving improved performance
Identifying & sharing improvement opportunities for the business
Scheduling daily work allocation for engineers
Working with other RMs to handle cross-region labour demands & to maximise efficiency of deployment
Developing capability of individuals & team, aligned to customer & business needs
Controlling stock levels for the region
Adherence to company & customers` Health & Safety policies
Identifying new & emerging sales opportunities for SMS & the wider plc
Role modelling company values & displaying effective leadership

Good technical understanding & capability - IT, electrical, surveillance products

Relevant Experience
Knowledge of the bus industry, CCTV, &/or electrical essential
Previous management experience highly preferable
Good track record of delivering excellent customer service
