The Role of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
You will need to be multi-skilled and of an electrical bias. In your role as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer you will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical works consisting of the planned and reactive maintenance of the factory machinery, including mills, hoppers and conveyors. Working to 3phase electrically is a must. Mechanically, experience with pneumatics and hydraulics are required. This is predominantly a day's based role but the successful candidate must be flexible with the hours that they can work.
The successful candidate will have a background within the food or manufacturing industry and hold a relevant qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering. The enthusiasm and desire to work alone, as well as in a team, is a key part to the team ethic within this thriving environment. Patience, willingness and teamwork are important for the development of each engineer to join this business. Knowledge of PLC's will benefit the successful candidate as fault finding on Siemens and Allen Bradley is needed.
