The successful applicant will be responsible for making regular contact with their part of the company's existing portfolio of B2B customers, acting as their primary point of contact to support their developing needs, identifying opportunity and preparing and submitting appropriate proposals to best support identified need.
The role will include dealing with general sales inquiries, preparation and administration of small business proposals, processing orders, liaising with other team members and departments to ensure all requirements are carried-out correctly and undertaking post-delivery reviews to ensure full customer satisfaction.
You would also be responsible for driving individual customers ICT strategies when requested to do so, for planning and holding ICT meetings, ICT financial forecasting and for working as the primary interface between internal departments and the client to ensure the client is supported correctly and any queries or issue addressed.
You will also be required to engage with potential customers, both face-to-face and via other media (no cold calling), undertaking various marketing activities including organising and attending marketing events, networking events, client lunches and client evenings both on site and externally hosted, for updating product information and literature and for collating data for marketing initiatives and other activities to help drive sales forward. The role may on occasion require some evening and weekend working.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years previous and recent IT experience in either an account management or technical role, a demonstrable working knowledge of technology and exceptional administration and customer service skills.
Applicants must also be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level or higher and have GCSE's (grade C or above) in English Language, English Literature and Maths. Due to the travel requirements of the role a current full driving licence is also essential.
