They have multiple sites throughout Europe and you can find their products in stores throughout the world. The company was established more than 50 years ago and is currently a world leader in their field. They supply a large range of weatherproofing materials to a vast range of industries throughout Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and China from their manufacturing sites in the UK and Netherlands.
The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
Working on a double days shift, the successful candidate will work as part of a team and be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of various types of machinery. This will include but is not limited to conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, grinders and mills. You will also be required to help with the building maintenance from time to time so flexibility is essential.
This is a multi-skilled role and you must hold a relevant engineering qualification. Mechanically you must be able to work on hydraulics and pneumatics, and experience with welding is preferred. Electrically you should be able to wire in 3 phase and wire motors in both star and delta and an ability to fault find on PLC's would set you at the top of the pack but it is not essential. As well as the technical skills you must also be a good team player and demonstrate a proactive approach in everything you do.
