An opportunity has arisen for Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers to work for a thriving business within the heart of Bedfordshire. Due to sustained expansion they are now looking for 2 more engineers to join their team, and maintain their status as number one. They now produce billions of units every year, and there is a whole lot more expansion on the horizon, as they branch out into new product markets and increase their impact worldwide.
The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
The successful engineers will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of bespoke machinery, as well as being responsible for looking after the general site maintenance. The right candidate will be driven by continuous improvement and will have a good attitude towards doing things 'right first time'. The shift will be a permanent night shift, Monday to Friday, and some overtime may be required.
You will ideally be electrically biased, although someone who is mechanical with very strong electrical skills may also be considered. You will hold an engineering qualification i.e. C+G/ NVQ level 3 in your discipline, and have experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Being able to fault find on PLC's is essential, and a 17th Edition qualification will set you above other engineers. You must also be a good team player.
