Due to a sky high growth, our client is looking to recruit hungry for success sales people to help them with their quest to beat their current growth achievements and cement themselves as an industry leader. This position provides a unique platform for career growth for the right candidate.

This is a new business sales role tasked with selling our client's diversified portfolio of IT solutions in both Mid and Corporate markets

We are looking for an experienced Public Sector Business Development Manager / New Business Sales professional who can evidence a background of successfully selling IT managed services and particularly Cloud, hosted voice and unified communications services.


• Identify new sales prospects in the Public Sector vertical - local authority, health and/or further education sector
• Competently and knowledgably advise clients on solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessments and analysis of client needs
• Build and execute sales plans
• Ability to present to customers and prospects in a highly effective manner
• Successfully negotiate sales transactions, ability to timely forecast product revenue and proactively take up initiatives to develop incremental business
• Control the sales process and drive leads to closure
• Leverage our client's existing Public sector customer base

Skills and Experience:

• Track record of success within the Public sector vertical market - local authority, health and/or further education sector
• Knowledge of wide-area networks and experience selling complex managed services - Cloud, hosted voice or unified communications
• Proven field sales experience; understanding of complex sales cycles with a unique ability to accelerate sales
• Proven experience influencing senior level business executives
• Ability to develop account plans and strategies to hunt and farm new business opportunities
• Experience pulling together virtual teams and managing the end to end bid process
