Role: Gas Supervisor

Our client is a well-established M&E maintenance, refurbishment and installation contractor that operate in the domestic and commercial sectors.
Owing to a marked increase in projects, the company are seeking to appoint an experienced Gas Supervisor to oversee a team of plumbing and heating engineers who are working on a wide range of social housing refurbishment projects.
The successful Gas Supervisor will have a plumbing and heating background with knowledge and experience of working on the tools but also acting within a supervisory role. You will be first point of call for the Engineers (approx. 8 in the current team), be responsible for organising the materials, delegate jobs and assist the trades on the day to day works.
They have secured a number of long term contracts nationally so for the short term the successful candidate will be required to work away. All cost will be covered by the client.
It is essential to have a detailed understanding of Health and Safety procedures and ensure this is followed at all times.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, the company are seeking an experienced Gas Supervisor from a domestic / social housing background with the following experience:
Qualified Plumber / Gas Engineer
Be in possession of current certification for working with gas - ACS
Experience of supervising teams of plumbing and heating engineers
Detailed understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Energetic and enthusiastic approach to working
