Senior QA Manager - Agile - Web and Mobile -£65k-£75k|
A leading global based SaaS company is looking for a Senior QA Manager Software Delivery Manager to help champion solid Agile / XP principles around the software development of cutting-edge innovative range of web and mobile products. This is an absolutely amazing opportunity to put your stamp on a company that is growing at an incredible pace, with plans to expand aggressively over the next year within the US.
They currently dominate the UK and Europe in their offerings and have a foot in the door in the US, in order to deliver as quickly as the sales team bring on more customers, they need to scale up the London based development team. Currently the tech team is split into 10+ product teams with a range of innovation teams hovering above these. Each team has a Software Engineering Manager, who focus solely on their designated products. It is imperative that the responsible of the current Managers is distributed between existing seniors, leaving space for one more Senior QA Manager.
This is a perfect role for an existing QA manager to join a global organisation and really make that mark in the success in delivering new and existing products to a brand new market. Ideally you will have a technical background (worked in a hands -on position, managing technical environments, but more importantly managed more than one delivery team at a time. You'll be reporting into C level and be responsible for one 3rd of the product range.
The ideal person will be extremely process-driven from inception through delivery, and have previous experience in:
- Setting up and overseeing software release -in a hands-on and off capacity
- Preaching Agile methodologies - you need to LOVE Agile development, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Kanban and Lean software development principles
- Experience in web and mobile based projects
- You are NOT a fan of bureaucracy, Waterfall, slow Sprints and unclear development plans
- Motivating others - you need to be a really passionate, outgoing and energetic person
- Previous experience in working in a internal and external stakeholder management position.
