Yorkshire based Multi-Skilled Service Engineer with an electrical bias is urgently required for a global business, renowned for quality products & service within the machine tool sector. This leading company provide complex CNC machine tools and components to a variety of blue chip customers. |
The successful candidate will have a solid background with conventional machine tools along with knowledge of Siemens and/or Heidenhain CNC controls. Knowledge of drive systems and strong mechanical skills are essential. Although this role will be predominantly based on the road, up to 30% of your time can be spent within the purpose built manufacturing site, modifying, retrofitting & refurbishing machinery.
Duties will include:
* On-site inspections/modifications of machinery
* Repairs & refurbishments
* Product testing
* Installation & commissioning
* CNC control systems modifications - Siemens or Heidenhain ideally
