Position (designation) : Engineer Service
Function / Department : Technical Service
Location : China (Shanghai)
Position to which reporting : Senior Executive Sales in China and
Global Service Head in India
Qualification : Diploma or Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Experience : 5-8 years as Technical Service in Capital
Equipment (preferably Pharma Machinery)
To install and commission machines FTR in market within standard time.
Get spare parts business as well as Annual Maintenance Contracts as per target defined.
Train customers operators & reduce warranty cost
Improve customer satisfaction with regular interaction
KEY CUSTOMERS SERVED (Internal and External)
KEY ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED
Attend to customer complaints promptly & ensure no issues are escalated to top management.
Collect information on competitor's machine
Attend exhibitions to generate business.
Validate new product at customer's place.
To help organization to improve our product quality by giving feedback to design for improvements.
Plan Annual Maintenance Contract visits to customers.
Send pre-installation checklist to customers.
Train customer operators so that they can handle machines independently.
Make service report after every visit.
Make follow -up sheet for next service engineer to take up the job.
Supply FOC items / spares as committed.
Collect outstanding payments.
Give feedback to design and QA in India after the visit.
Make weekly reports, summarizing visits done during the week.
Identify parts that can get worn out during Annual Maintenance Contract visits and inform customer.
