General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Property Administrator Supervisor to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to further advance some of our nation's fundamental defense services. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to identify and help acquire new business ventures for General Dynamics Mission Systems and its customers. Key Responsibilities

The Property Administrator Supervisor will provide property administration, tracking and analysis support, compliance and prepares and maintains records and supporting documentation. Additionally, the position coordinates preparation of reports and develops systems and procedures for control and monitoring of government and/or company property.

  • Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers' changing business needs
  • Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the General Dynamics Mission Systems culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures
  • Follow industry trends and pursue technology innovation to ensure General Dynamics Mission Systems services are cost competitive and superior to industry best practices
  • Administers property control program activities to ensure accountability of company and/or government property in accordance with applicable company policy or government regulations
  • Manages / coordinates the staff and function of Property Administration
  • Acts as liaison between the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Property and the company
  • Performs compliance audits of government/customer-owned property and initiates corrective actions with the appropriate departments for discrepancies
  • Prepares various reports and certifications for submission to government/customer agencies
  • Works with personnel using government/customer property to ensure compliance with pertinent government regulations and internal procedures
  • Verifies the accuracy and adequacy of property disposition schedules prior to their submission to the appropriate agency representatives
  • Initiates and maintains various departmental property databases and reports using available software applications and tools
  • Reviews contract documentation for programs that require the use of property and ensures GDMS is compliant
  • Participates in the conduct, reconciliation, and reporting of annual customer property inventories

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates should demonstrate sophisticated research and analysis skills, as well as an ability to further evolve the General Dynamics Mission Systems business.

The Property Administrator Supervisor must have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or in a related specialty or the equivalent and five to eight years of related experience. Applicants with a master's degree in Business Management or in a related specialty or the equivalent and three to five years of related work experience also qualify.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Solid communication skills both verbal and written
  • Thorough knowledge of all Government Property regulations
  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification required
