Responsibilities for this Position:

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking talented professionals to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Operations and Sustainment CAM Engineer to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security NA selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various General Dynamics Mission Systems and client technologies. Key Responsibilities

The CAM will perform O&S IPT CAM functions including the following activities:

  1. Weekly : participate in 3x/week CAM status calls, attend Cycle test status meeting, provide/enter IMS status, attend BRM, and review Actuals Hours reports for time charging accuracy and alignment with IMS status.

  2. Monthly : calculate & enter ETC into Artemis, analyze EV metrics and generate VARs in WINsight as required, and attend the monthly Program VAR meeting.

  3. As Required : identify/request IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules, add Risks and associated mitigation activities to the IMS, and plan technical work, including scope, cost & schedule, with direction from I&T CAMs for the following: Rolling Waves, PDs, MR requests, ECPs, and other types of estimates (e.g., EE, RE, ROM).

  4. Maintain a desktop schedule of daily work to support the IMS (in ARTEMIS).

  5. Control and maintain Work Authorization Documents (WADs) for each Control Account, ensuring the WADs are always up-to-date.

The successful candidate must posses the following:

  1. Working proficiency with Artemis, WINSight, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  2. Knowledge of Lockheed Martin CAM/CAM Analyst processes and policies(PPMP)desired.

  3. Recent graduate of the CAM101 course and completed Artemis training within the last 2 years.

  4. Experience with Artemis Project View/Cost View and MicroSoft Project, rolling waves, and EVM cost baselining.

  5. Experience in identifying IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules.

  6. Recent experience with DCMA Audits and Baseline Reviews as the CAM answering the questions.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates must demonstrate passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of various engineering systems and the ability to further advance General Dynamics Mission Systems technology.

The Senior Advanced Systems Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area, field or the equivalent and at least eight to ten years of related work experience. Applicants with a masters degree and a minimum of six to eight years of related experience are also eligible.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  1. Familiar with Eaglespeed and Material procurement.
