Job Summary
The People Services team is a centralised Human Resources (HR) shared services function, delivering a seamless, responsive, high quality information and transaction service across Greater China and South East Asia. The scope of this function includes all support activities associated with key HR initiatives relating to attraction, development and retention.

As well as leading the team, the Manager, People Services role is responsible for developing and maintaining a framework which supports our strategy through excellent stakeholder engagement and the utmost attention to the highest possible levels of customer service, quality and compliance.

  • Drive execution of the People Services function in Hong Kong
  • Provides leadership and support to the Hong Kong People Services team
  • Manage work responsibilities of the team to suit the needs of the function and the broader business
  • Provide guidance to the People Services team on resolution of complex inquiries, requests or issues
  • Forecast and manage potential risk and impact to service delivery
  • Ensure accuracy/currency of all People Services related procedures, guidelines and forms
  • Ensure communication to Regional HR teams on updated services and procedures
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as operational HR and CoE teams, Finance, Payroll and IT
  • Partners and collaborates with other regional People Services Managers in pursuit of delivering a consistent client experience
  • Monitor service levels and customer satisfaction against predetermined targets/SLA's
  • Ensure all documentation prepared to highest standards of quality
  • Ensure data integrity of all information entered into AECOM people systems
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements
  • Establish and ensure regular delivery of activity and SLA reporting to HR leadership
Continuous Improvement:
  • Seek opportunities and drive the continuous improvement of People Services practices, processes and systems.
  • Drive strong engagement levels within Hong Kong People Services team
  • Manage individual/team performance in line with goals; identify improvement/career advancement opportunities
  • Manage resourcing and team workload, ensuring an agile workforce which can respond to the changing volumes..

Minimum Requirements
Key skills and expertise
  • 10 years' experience in HR service delivery in either HR Shared Services or HR Business Partner roles.
  • 5 years' experience in leading either a HR Shared Services (preferable) or HR Business Partner team
  • Experience in successfully managing process and culture change
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong project management skills,
  • Exposure to computerised HR and/or payroll information systems
  • Sound computer/database skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong analytical skills
