Development Manager (C#, MVC, TDD, CI) - Agile Software House |
A brand new position has just opened up for a Development Manager within a mature start-up based in west London. You will be saving millions of lives by working here.... FACT! Working on various products and applications developed in C# MVC and .NET you will be responsible for a team of 4 fixed .Net developers but will have dotted line responsibility for 3-5 others depending on the project.
The platform has recently been hailed as a game-changer, Applications that are built for use within the NHS and healthcare sector have always been old and clunky... this is no more. the move is now to ensure that everything is connected and allows for difference and deterioration in patients conditions to be picked up quickly and without fuss meaning a better quality of care can be given and money and resource can be distributed to ensure all UK hospitals are getting a huge rise in level of service.
You will learn about mobile development here, something that is already in place in the business, so a background in this is non essential. So, what else do they want from you? You will be a development manager or Team lead who has run smaller teams ideally in a product based environment. You will understand and have implemented agile in its various guises... 2 week sprints, TDD and CI are already in place but with this team the sprint process needs to be embedded further, presenting the new Development Manager with a very interesting challenge.
Working alongside 3 other Managers you will report to the CTO and be responsible for a specific product road-map, with release cycles of 6 months.
