Adecco are the world's largest recruitment agency and we are proud to be working with an industry leading engineering company who are currently seeking a Site supervisor within Ashford. You will be reportable to the contractor manager and work predominately within the Southern delivery team. The role will ensure supervision of field operatives (direct and sub contract labour) to ensure successful delivery of client projects on time, in a safe and compliant manner, ensuring all contractual processes, procedures and quality standards are adhered to.|
•Liaison and clear communication with colleagues, client and 3rd party stack holders (including local authorities and statutory undertakers) prior to and throughout the lifecycle of a project to ensure work are delivered efficiently.
•Quality management including completion of all regional As Laid drawings.
•Proactively report resource concerns at appropriate times in project programme to avoid short notice problems.
•Visible leadership and motivation of construction team
•Projects must be completed safely within time, to the correct standards and within budget.
•Positive approach to new challenges
•Maintain awareness of HSE policies and procedures and keep up to date on changes that impact your role.
•Lead the project team by displaying clear thinking and identification with customer objectives.
•Must be numerate and have good command of business language.
•Must be of professional appearance with an ability to operate at all levels.
•Experienced in management of contractors.
•Wide range of experience in projects types, clients and contract management.
•Must be eligible to work in the UK
•Full UK driving licence.
•Demonstrate knowledge of Health and safety act 1974.
•First Aid and Manual Handling.
In return you will receive a company vehicle, 21 days holiday plus the bank holidays and 2 weeks off over the Christmas shut down period.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7:30am-16:30pm
