Our client currently requires an electrically qualified Plant Operator / Plant Operative / Operations Technician / Electrical Technician to plan & execute operations & maintenance activities of a 24/7 process plant providing renewable power to the local surrounding area.
They are one of the UK's leading proponents of renewable electrical power generation in their sector.
As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for performance of plant under direction of an Operations Manager, feeding fuel (renewable), conducting routine maintenance & supervising maintenance by 3rd party personnel. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in working as a plant operator of large mechanical engines / plant / utilities perhaps being from a marine engineer or ex army or Royal Navy background. IT literacy is important & a relevant electrical engineering qualification, preferably at HNC level or apprenticeship would be very advantageous.
You ideally should also hold a full, clean driving licence & be able to respond to out of hours emergencies with support from management. The successful candidate would receive a competitive salary of up to £34,000 plus holidays etc.
Located rurally near Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk you will need to be able to drive to reach the location.
