My client are looking to appoint a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to assist in overseeing the delivery of a variety of projects within our Quantity Surveying team. You will be supporting the team to generate project solutions and work on developments within the Commercial, Residential and International sector|
The main responsibilities include overseeing the pre and post contract services carried out by the team including; cost planning, preparing tender and contract documentation, contract administration and acting as Employer's Agent, preparing interim payments and cost reports and agreeing final accounts. You will share your technical expertise through developing and supporting a team of Quantity Surveyors.
You will have at least 1 year's post qualified experience with 4 years operational experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK market with the ability to motivate and inspire a dedicated team of professionals. Skills & Person Specification
MRICS qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 1 year's post qualified experience.
A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK market Project Co-ordinator.
Ability to prepare budget estimates and costs plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive approach to team working and the ability to self-manage and prioritise.
Committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to build and maintain Client relationships.
Literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
