I am recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join my clients new team in Chichester. The role will pay up to £45,000 plus generous benefits.|
The role will be as sole Quantity Surveyor on between 1-3 sites valued at £2million - £5million. These projects will be refurbishments and new build extensions to existing buildings in Hampshire/Berkshire/Wiltshire. You will be based in the office and visit site as and when required.
* Experience with a main contractor in a QS role
* HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying
* Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC Form or Contract
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Reporting into a Commercial Manager
* Financial control and responsibility of projects
* Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers
* Procurement of Sub-Contractors
* Monthly CVRs
* Final Accounts
* Measurements and Variations
* Salary up to £45,000
