Regional Sales Manager - East Africa - Permanent Position

Acorn Global is working in partnership with an established leading international radio communication provider. Following a record year, the organisation is continuing to invest and expand the business.

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow business within the East Africa region. This is a solutions sales role which will require a consultative approach, dealing directly with customers as well as managing a dealer network and the ability to develop new re-seller partnerships.

Job Role

* Develop sales plans in line with business objectives and strategy to maximize market penetration.
* Identify opportunities and projects to develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities
* Capture opportunities and develop solutions with the support of an engineering team
* Develop new business relationships and manage existing relationships to deliver revenues and business volumes
* Manage, support and develop high quality distribution partners
* Work collaboratively with the team to maximize business opportunities

Person Specification
* Proven track record of selling solutions in to military, public safety and government sectors
* 'Hunter' mentality with proven ability to develop and 'close' business
* Strong English language skills essential
* Arabic, Swahili or French language skills desirable
* Degree calibre individual
* Proven experience selling technical solutions
* Experience of managing distributors
* Knowledge of radio communication equipment or related technology
* Strong customer orientation
* Results focussed
