We are looking for a Software & Control Engineering Supervisor to join a well renowned Electronics and Manufacturing company based in the East Midlands area who are undergoing exponential growth, with their technical & Engineering team numbers doubling in the last year. This will also include the opportunity to coach and develop a team of Engineers.|
As the Lead Software & Control Engineer you'll be:
> Improving software and control engineering processes in compliance with ISO 9001
> The first point of contact within the business for engineering and software enquiries
> Supporting and planning the installation and configuration of the company's proprietary software and control solutions.
> Responsible for reporting progress of engineering tasks to other Engineers and Project Managers.
> Expected to comply with the company's health and safety legislation and procedures.
You'll work closely with the existing Engineering team and act as an ambassador for the company's products and help in identifying potential improvements and planning their implementation.
To be successful in the role of Software & Control Engineer Supervisor, you'll have the following skills:
> Strong electronics hardware and software experience within a global setting
> Leading an Engineering team.
> Experience using MPLAB or PIC32 microcontroller
> Full lifecycle software development experience with knowledge of the 'V' model
> Object Oriented Programming e.g. C#, JAVA or Winforms
In addition, any knowledge of the following would hold you in good stead:
> Running unit tests
> Experience developing simulation and test tools
