You will have strong people management skills, and experience in managing sub contract manufacturing of complex electromechanical products / systems. As Process Engineering Manager, you will:-
Lead the product life cycle transition from product development and innovation, to manufacturing, optimising mass-production and managing product phase out
Provide support to the R&D team during the production innovation phase
Provide leadership to a team of industrial engineer / technicians to maximize their performance by coaching them and promoting best practices in co-operation with the global discipline managers, ensuring that the team is focused, performing and motivated to obtain full commitment.
Develop a skilled, versatile, competent team who are capable of meeting company objectives. Promote flexibility by developing and expanding skills of team members.
Monitor objectives and measure achievement level regularly.
The Ideal Candidate:-
Process Engineering Manager with experience in managing NPI projects from R&D stages, into full manufacture using sub contract manufacturers globally
Ideally from a complex electromechanical product / systems / assembly process background
Experience in dealing with external engineering companies and subcontractors located globally
Strong people management skills
Experience of liaising with R&D during NPI projects
Mechanical and electronics engineering knowledge would be useful
Knowledge of Lean techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, 6 sigma, JIT, FMEA
Knowledge of International transportation / logistics is ideal
